J B Cartwright, G D Frost and I C Oakley-Smith have been appointed as Joint Administrators of The Globespan Group plc and Globespan Airways Limited to manage its affairs, business and property as its agents. J B Cartwright and G D Frost are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and I C Oakley-Smith is licensed in the United Kingdom to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

The companies entered into Administration having suffered liquidity issues.

Unfortunately, the Joint Administrators have been unable to continue trading the companies and therefore all flights operated by The Globespan Group plc or Globespan Airways Limited have been cancelled and the aircraft grounded.
