  • Cabin baggage

Flyglobespan passengers are entitled to take ONE bag on board. There is no cost for this and the bag must be no larger than 55cm x 45cm x 20cm. Whilst there is no weight restriction (within the 20kg allowance), passengers must be able to put their own bag in the overhead lockers without assistance.

Passengers and their baggage will be subjected to security screening throughout their journey. To assist us with this, please ensure that your cabin baggage is suitable packed.

Passengers may take liquids on board in their hand luggage provided the liquid is in a container with a maximum volume of 100ml and can be fitted comfortably into a transparent, re-sealable 1 litre plastic bag.

DO NOT pack sharp items in your hand luggage. These include household cutlery, knives with blades of any length, tools, scissors, tweezers, toy/replica guns (metal or plastic), razor blades, knitting needles and darts.

  • Checked-in baggage (excluding sporting equipment)

From 1 March 2008 flyglobespan introduced a small charge for baggage to be checked in on all European flights plus flights from Europe to Egypt only*.

Passengers prepaying this via the website will be charged £5.00 / €7.10 per bag each way, whilst passengers opting to pay at the airport will be charged £10 / €12 per bag each way and will have to pay this charge at the ticket desk before check in.

Sports equipment is not included as hold baggage and as such is subject to a separate charge of £15 / €25 / $27per item per flight sector. Please click here for further details.

    * This charge will be subject to review and flyglobespan reserves the right to increase this charge without prior notice. Passengers booking flights prior to 21 January 2008 will not be charged.
