The first and only golf resort in the area is located 10 minutes from the
international airport and Naama Bay. The central location of the resort
at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula makes for an ideal point of
return from other trips in Egypt, to enjoy a unique game of golf in a
dramatic setting of mountains, deserts and sea.
The Par 72 PGA Championship golf course opened in 1997 and has been
designed by American architect Sanford and Associates. It features
Passpalum grass, many lakes which attracts a variety of exotic birds, over
35 different species, of which 9 belong to the endangered species list.
