With arguably the world’s greatest theme parks all on offer in the Kissimmee and International Drive areas, there is plenty to keep even the most demanding of children entertained for hours!

Wet 'n' Wild© provides a full day of fun for water babies of all ages, while Universal Studios®, brings your favourite films and superheroes to life and Universal Islands® offers a host of themed rides. The most famous of them all - Walt Disney World® Resort - offers more than 40 attractions and is also home to the thrilling Epcot Centre®.

If you prefer to combine entertainment with education then there are plenty of attractions on offer which do just that. The Kennedy Space Centre allows visitors to experience space exploration while both Gatorland® and Seaworld® allow visitors to experience some unforgettable animal encounters.

If you need a rest from the non-stop action of the theme parks then fear not. Just a short drive from Orlando are some of the country's best beaches - perfect for chilling out.

If shops rather than rides are what you find most thrilling then you wont be disappointed. Orlando's Florida Mall offers 200,000sq ft of shops while those looking for top end shopping should head to The Mall at Millenia which is home to America’s favourite stores, Bloomingdales and Macy's, as well as designer stores such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and Cartier.

Eating & Drinking

With nearly 5,400 restaurants from which to choose, there really is something for everyone in Orlando!

The theme parks offer a huge choice of cuisine and many of them also offer kids the option of dining with their favourite characters – an experience never to be forgotten.

The Old Town of Kissimmee also offers a range of dining experiences. Take a stroll down the Old Town’s brick-lined streets and choose from a variety of choices from fast food to al la carte.

Downtown Disney at Lake Buena Vista is a great option for those seeking nightlife. As well as an excellent variety of restaurants, there is also Pleasure Island - a collection of clubs featuring music from various eras.

Fort Lauderdale

This sophisticated seaside town offers visitors Shopping, sailing, and plenty of sunbathing. Dubbed the 'Venice of America', the region is made up of waterways, canals and lagoons which give it a romantic feel. Shopping is also a popular pastime for visitors to the area – specialist boutiques and stylish department stores attract the international yachting crowd, whilst bargain hunters are well catered for with Swap Shop, a vast flea market where you can buy almost anything. If it is sunbathing in style that you are after then make a beeline for Hollywood Beach, where white sand, graceful palms and blue water are backed by a busy promenade. The city’s passion for food is reflected in its quality with a fantastic range of fresh fish restaurants.

Miami

America’s southernmost resort city attracts a wide variety of visitors every year – some to party, some are attracted by the world class cuisine, while others want to enjoy the region’s sparkling waters and huge range of water sports on offer. The historical Art Deco district in South Beach, widely regarded as one of the most glamorous in the world, is a must for anyone looking to enjoy world-famous nightclubs, beaches and shopping. For tranquil city views, bike trails and great beaches, head to Key Biscayne to the south of South Beach whilst the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables, a stunning pool with waterfalls transformed from an old quarry, provides swimming with a difference.
