Analyst Developer
Position
The ideal candidate will have an intimate knowledge of VB6/VB.net and creation of reports within Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports. A knowledge of Oracle 10g, SQL server and XML are essential. The position would ideally suit a graduate with a software related degree and some commercial experience.
Duties would include:
Day to day updating, maintenance & troubleshooting of the existing database systems.
Design and development of new reporting software and bespoke applications.
Liaising with other departments and our 3rd party software suppliers.
The majority of projects will be team based with support provided wherever necessary. You will be encouraged to provide development ideas for new and existing systems.
Some flexibility in working hours may be required.
Salary dependant on experience.

Web Developer - Head Office, Colinton, Edinburgh
Position
The ideal candidate will have an intimate knowledge of HTML, be proficient with Photoshop and possess strong design skills, a working knowledge of Active Server Pages (ASP) and JavaScript is essential. Experience of XML/database integration an advantage. Desirable but not essential skills include knowledge of Microsoft Access and general IT troubleshooting.

Customer Support Assistant

To support the rapid expansion of our airline we are currently recruiting personnel for our busy contact centre. Based in Edinburgh City Centre, just minutes from Haymarket train station, we aim to provide an exciting working environment within the fast paced Airline and Travel Industry.
Our commitment is to exceed our passenger's expectations in all areas of our operation. As the voice of flyglobespan you must possess a good telephone manner and display exceptional customer care skills. Calls are varied and will include amending existing booking as well as dealing with general queries and requests from both the public and industry partners. Whilst experience within the Travel Industry would be beneficial it is not essential.
In return for your dedication we offer a fantastic basic salary combined with an uncapped bonus. Our staff travel scheme is also open to employees after a qualifying period. This is a full time position working 5 days (37.5 hours) out of 7.
